Groundbreaking for the Samaritan’s Building

July 13th, 2010 by Father Steve Anderson

We broke and blessed ground after the 8:00 morning Mass on Monday, July 5th.  Currently a building is being erected for the purpose of distributing food to those in need, and also for a small thrift store for our Good Samaritans.  We are proud of this new building as part of our parish and community.  It is a visible sign to all of how we are attempting as best we can to follow the mandate of the Gospel:  feed the hungryu, shelter the homeless, clothe the naked, and love one another.  In the faces of those who come to this building, may we see the Face of Jesus.
